Thai boxing is an unique experience, which every visitor ought to see at least once during their time in Thailand. It is not just the boxing but the rituals, which accompany the bouts, which make it an exciting spectacle. Before the fights begin each boxer goes through a pre-fight routine which is a form of homage to their teachers. During the fight music is served up by specialized musicians. Attention of the audience though is focused on what is happening in the ring for Thai-style boxing not only allows the contestants to fight with their hands but also the feet, knees, elbows and practically any other part of the body. Each bout lasts usually for 5 rounds of three minutes duration.
